At Sofi Nails, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating an unforgettable experience for you.
Kindly be advised that all of our nail services are non-refundable. However, if you are not completely satisfied with the results, please inform us promptly. We will be more than happy to make the necessary adjustments and address any concerns to your satisfaction.
Nail Salon Cancellation Policy:
We greatly value your time and strive to provide an exceptional service during your visit. To help us maintain this standard, we kindly request that you confirm your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact the salon directly—we are happy to assist you in finding a more convenient time. As each appointment slot is reserved for a valued client, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you are running late or unable to attend. Please note that failure to provide at least 48 hours' notice will result in a charge for the full cost of your appointment, and no-shows will be subject to the same fee.
We understand that unforeseen delays can occur, which is why we allow a 10-minute grace period for emergencies. However, arriving 15 minutes late may result in not completing scheduled services. If you are more than 20 minutes late, it will be considered a no-show, and the full-service charge will apply.
No fee will be applied if cancellations or rescheduling are made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. However, if you cancel through the Square Appointments system within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full-service fee. To avoid this charge, kindly ensure that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
At the time of booking, you will be required to provide your card details to ensure protection against no-shows. Rest assured, your card information is kept confidential and secure. Charges will only be applied in the event of a missed appointment, same-day cancellation or rescheduling, or failure to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice, all of which must occur within 14 days after your scheduled appointment.
Age Eligibility Guidelines for applying gel and gel polish:
Gel polish and gel applications are recommended for clients aged 16 and older, with the condition that nails are healthy and free from skin abrasions, bruises, or scrapes. These procedures must be performed under the supervision of a parent or a guardian. In contrast, a hygienic manicure without the use of gel or gel polish is suitable for all age groups. I utilize only premium materials and adhere to correct manicure techniques to minimize any risk of nail damage.
USE OF smartphones AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
We understand and respect our clients' need to use their smartphones during their manicure appointment. However, phone usage is only permitted until the nail technician begins applying gel to the nails.
From the moment the gel application process starts, texting, taking calls, watching videos, or browsing social media is strongly discouraged. The gels we use have a liquid consistency, and creating the correct nail architecture is a delicate and complex process. It is extremely important that the client remains focused, follows the technician's instructions, and quickly places their hand into the lamp to ensure the gel sets properly.
If the client is distracted by their smartphone during this stage, the gel may run off the nail plate, or the nails may accidentally touch the lamp, ruining the technician's meticulous work and resulting in incorrect or unattractive nail shapes.
We kindly ask for your cooperation to help us achieve the highest quality results and provide you with the perfect manicure you deserve.
It is also very important not to remove your hands from the lamp until the nail technician informs you that the gel has fully cured.
We have often noticed that some clients place their nails in the lamp for only 10-15 seconds and then take their hand out to reply to a message or continue browsing online stores. Unfortunately, this significantly affects the quality of your nails. An interrupted curing process prevents the gel from becoming as strong and durable as it should be, which can result in nails breaking much faster. Your cooperation is essential in helping us deliver long-lasting, high-quality results!
Another important detail to keep in mind – please adjust the volume of your headphones to ensure you can hear all requests and recommendations from your nail technician during the procedure.
We kindly ask you to use headphones for watching videos or making phone calls. Our clients value the calm and private atmosphere of our studio and playing audio on speaker mode may cause discomfort to other guests, preventing them from fully enjoying their time and relaxing.
FOOD & BEVERAGES POLICY
We allow beverages during your appointment; however, eating is not permitted during the procedure.
If you are feeling hungry or need to eat due health reasons, please inform your technician. We will be happy to provide you with a 5–10 minutes break and direct you to a specially designated dining area equipped for your comfort.
CHILDREN & ANIMALS POLICY
Animals are not permitted during your procedure.
Children are allowed only if they are mature enough to wait calmly in the designated waiting area while you receive your service.
PAYMENT METHODS:
The preferred form of payment in our salon is credit or debit cards. When paying by credit or with debit card, please note that a 4% fee will be applied to the total cost of services to cover the Square Point of Sale fee.
At Sofi Nails, we also accept other forms of payment, including cash, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App.
